Here at Home Services Assistance we take safety very seriously, and are always looking at ways in which we can improve and enhance what we already do to ensure the safety of our customers and team.
As our business and team grow, the more we need to look at the health and safety implications around our workplace and that’s why we’re sending some of our team to do the IOSH Managing Safely Course and the IOSH Directing Safety Course.
Our guys are going to be put through their paces, learning in more detail about: –
- Assessing risks
- Controlling risks
- Understanding responsibilities
- Understanding hazards
- Investigating incidents
- Measuring performance
- Protecting our environment
At the end of the course they’ll be put through their paces and assessed in the form of answering a question paper and producing a risk assessment based project before they can be awarded their certificates, and we’re looking forward to them coming back into our HQ to put into practice everything that they’ve learnt.
Kieran Gallagher, Managing Director at Home Services Assistance said “Health and Safety is, as you can imagine, a fundamental area for the business in which we operate and it’s essential that our team are up to date on all of the very latest practices, procedures and legislations. Taking the IOSH Training, which is a widely recognised and respected certification, means that not only does it give me and my team the peace of mind that we’re operating as safely as possible, but it also gives our customers that assurance that health and safety is a priority to our business.”
Home Services Assistance run a comprehensive training programme for all of their team, ensuring that they are all up to date with all of the relevant and required training, assessment and certifications required to carry out their roles.
